Can We Really Call These Love Stories was first released in 2022 in a print-only format, by local independent press, CBC Press.

It is being re-released here in a digital format for the first time.

Despite my concerted efforts, I have not stopped writing about love.

These poems are preoccupied with heartache, admiration, return, uncertainty, surrender. Some hold youth, some grieve it. In some ways, the work in it's entirety does both.

The words written are often ones I didn't have the courage to speak aloud, at the time, and perhaps wouldn't still today. They are central to no one person, and do not tell a singular story, but instead are a gathering of encounters both divine and relentless, uncertain and incomplete.
